S1000D or ASD S1000D as it is also known, is the International specification for technical publications utilizing a Common Source Database. Developed over the past two decades, it has become widely utilized and highly regarded across several sectors, including defense, civil aviation, shipping, nuclear, automotive, rail and manufacturing.
